I LOVE THAT I CAN PICK UP MY PHONE OFF THE BEDSIDE TABLE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND CAN ADJUST MY THERMOSTAT. TOO COLD - DON’T NEED TO CRAWL OUT OF BED. ALSO, I LIKE THAT I CAN TURN DOWN THE AIR JUST BEFORE I GET HOME FROM BEING GONE ALL DAY. WORKS PERFECTLY AND MY HUSBAND CAN’T SNEEK IN AND CHANGE THE THERMOSTAT ANYMORE.

The thermostat itself is fine. The Resideo app, however, is truly horrible. It doesn’t refresh unless you force close and reopen it. No, it’s not my device. Just terrible design/implementation. I’d replace this in a second if I didn’t just buy it.

I have a dual fuel heat set up and the thermostat does not recognize the oil heat as an emergency heat.
There is no way for me to manually manipulate the thermostat due to the fact that the thermostat does not distinguish between heat mode and emergency heat mode
So both the heat pump which comes on over 40° and the oil heat which comes on for anything under 40° both register at heat mode
However, Because only heat mode is used and the thermostat never recognizes emergency heat mode.
I have not used this in the air condition mode yet

Great way to monitor HVAC while away. The app is easy to use and being able to adjust it based on the different days of the week makes it really energy efficient. There is even a vacation mode, which is great.
