This came with a new home purchase, and it's been working fine. I've used a few Honeywell products in the past and had no issues. So many negative reviews because it depends on how it was installed and how familiar you are with smart devices I suppose. App also works fine for me and I used it with Google Home.

Nice thermostat. Does everything it should. My only complaint is the app. It doesn’t show the accurate weather outside unless I reboot my phone. I think it’s because my phone is old—iPhone SE.

I had the thermostat professionally installed in our second home and there were no problems with the installation or operation of the HVAC system. Installing and using the Resideo app was also extremely easy. I now have no problem checking the interior temp, setting the thermostat temp or changing from heating cooling remotely. I am totally pleased with the Honeywell thermostat and the Resideo app.
