Kind of a pain to use and set up. Coming from ecobee this thing feels like using a hand crank started car. The app is sucky, the HomeKit integration is meh, and it seems like you need to change schedule and settings in 3 different places because otherwise you never know what schedule it’s going to use.
I went from a Honeywell color screen with outside temp information to a 2 dimensional black and gray small screen unit as shown. It does its job for the new hvac system. No outside temp. Pretty plain.
Second rate thermostat. It came with the new heater unit, but I replaced it with a Nest. Setup instructions were not consistent with the actual setup and the Web interface was not working properly.
Our old system failed and it had 15 year old technology. Glad we made the decision for this unit. As a senior, I am a little skeptical about some new technology . And just like the tech said this is easy to control by using the keypad or the app. Also she advised that on cold mornings " when you don't want to get out of bed to a cold floor and house " you will love turning on the system with the App while laying bed......she was 100% right. When need on those mornings, I am one happy and warm senior.
