It is a nightmare to use it properly.

It came with the house when i bought it new, it has been a year and a half and this gadget is yet to work as it should.

Thermostat works great, except it won’t hook up to my Internet

Fair. When trying to add a hidden WiFi SSID the unit will disconnect from the app and not respond to complete the setup.

Hi JDG42, thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will be happy to help you getting your thermostat connected to Wi-Fi. Our Support Center link at the top of the page has all the ways you can get in contact with us to discuss where the issue may be.
The thermostat was part of a hvac system replacement. So far it is working fine, I only have one issue with it and that it does not have an automatic setting you have to change from heat to cool. I haven't taken the time to check all the other function, and there are many (for the installers mostly).
