The permanent hold is great but the temporary hold has a mind of its own. I wake up in the middle of the night, drenched in sweat as the thermostat goes to 80 degrees F. I would never go over 72 degrees F with heat!

Had this installed to replace an aggravating old thermostat that had a mind of its own. Glad I did - this one is easier to use, and is much more legible to see across the room. The Resideo phone app works seamlessly as well. I’m very pleased with this purchase.
