We took the thermostat back. It turned my heat on. My house wouldn't cool to below 81° that's how we found out.

Moving from a house which had the auto option for mode, i just had to set my upper and lower limits for temperature and the system would heat or cool as needed. Now i have the headache of switching between the two during spring/fall when temperatures fluctuate.

This is what a thermostat should be. Simple and easy to use either at the unit in the wall or through the app. Nobody needs a complicated device to raise or lower the temp. This device does that perfectly..

This thermostat is easy to use and best of all I can set it wherever I am by using the app on my phone. It also shows my useage, what my cooling and heating are set for, and what my home temperature is currently at. I can adjust my settings with my phone. Just an overall great, smart thermostat.
