The product is just ok and does the job. The touch screen is not sensitive and needs hard taps before it can wake up. The app does not refresh immediately and sometimes it takes few manual refreshes to figure out if the AC units are on or off.
I had two of these installed by my Aquarius who were installing a new furnace. The installer tried for a few minutes on the first one and after not being able to connect to my WiFi phone app, if gave up and said I needed to contact the manufacture. I was able to quickly connect the 2nd one to my WiFi and phone app quickly and if the first one connected like the 2nd one, the rating would have been 4 stars. I pulled the 1st one back off the wall and started over and eventually I was able to get it connected after multiple attempts. Not sure if the FW was different in the first one of not or why it was having a hard time but seems to work. Just not like most other IOT you need 2.4 Ghz wifi and most mesh networks don't have this. The other reason for dropping a star is if you did not setup your furnace/ac number of stages correctly in the initial setup in the app, you cannot change it within the app settings afterwards. You have to delete the thermostat from your app and setup it up again.
2nd one in 2 years goes out can’t do anything. Unreliable Not feeling very good about the product. I know I’m not buying a 3rd to replace it. I will look into other brands.
It works perfectly, and I didn’t have to stay up all night reading the manual to figure it out. It’s simple and it’s accurate. The final item on building my new system. It was a good choice.

My First Smart Thermostat and has worked fine

This thermostat came with my new HVAC system and it has worked fine so far (about 2 years). The only issue I've had was there have been times when the device will not connect to the app. It usually fixes itself so it has not been that much of an issue and that could be an app problem, not a device problem, not sure.
