Thermostat is well organized and laid out. Quick and easy link to Resideo app. Touch screen is very responsive. Average rating due to Resideo app functions and layout.Very basic and “boring.” Runtime (usage) function only displays past week and previous. No data for current week.

I really did not want the geofencing and other features that require me to allow the thermostat to communicate over the internet. I do not like having my devices send information out. However, the thermostat could not be properly set up without using the app and connecting with the internet. That said, the thermostat is excellent and easy to program. The programming can be set without using the app. Seems to work flawlessly. I just wish I did not have to use the app for initial setup. Whenever my WiFi goes down (which it does, sometimes) I get a message from Resideo that they cannot communicate with the thermostat. I think they should not be communicating with the thermostat constantly. The only reason I have this thermostat is that when I had a new furnace installed, the vendor installed this. I was switching from single-stage to two-stage HVAC and the old thermostat could not handle that.

It does not have an automatic setting, which allows it to automatically switch to A/C from heat and heat to A/C when the temperature requires it.
