It works great, but getting the Wi-Fi connection to work remotely with my phone took many tries over many months. Gave up on it. Once the company switched from Honeywell to Resideo, I thought I’d give it another try. I was able to get things finally set up on the third try. Since then, everything has worked great!

Upgraded to this wifi thermostat. The device is good but for the price you pay it lacks simplicity to operate. It’s way too complicated to connect and continues to go offline. Also, the main reason why most people buy this is so that they could control it via app and the thermostat can switch from heat to AC automatically. This automatic feature is not defaulted, you must search through the user manual to set it to auto switch over. Silly, should be a default.

I’ve used a Honeywell thermostat for years. This new one came with our new HVAC. I wish it had the exterior outside temperature like our old Honeywell thermastat. I still need to figure out how to program the new thermostat, you can’t just program the thermostat, app required.
