It’s a thermostat. Wifi setup was seamless. Has a great modern look. Works well overall. It has missed the mark with a few features and some that you would expect. The analytics for heating/cooling running times take not minutes or hours to display but days. When wanting to know how efficient my system was on (let’s say Sunday) due to a cold spell, I will need to wait till Tuesday to see how long it ran. Seems like low hanging fruit for the developers to incorporate. The system also does not display the current indoor humidity. This is important living in the south or really anywhere if you have health problems. I really wish you could set heating and cooling limits that could keep your home at a constant temperature. This system missed the mark in my opinion.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thermostat doesn't reach set temperature

This is the 4th type of Honeywell thermostat that I have had and as with all previous ones the temperature is off by 2 degrees with no real way to add an offset to correct for the reading. I wish someone at Honeywell would read these reviews and actually change something for a change to make it easier for the end user to change things.
