I have gone from a nest to this. Mostly this is a good thermostat. The app however is very lacking. I would like to be able to set a temp for every hour. I would also like to be able to set hot and cold thresholds and not have to switch the thermostat from hot to cold during that week with our seesaw weather.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good thermostat in house,poor App for wireless use

The thermostat is easy to use and the display is clear. Connecting to Wifi to allow remote review and adjustments was frustrating. I had to research how to do a workaround to finally get it to work. Once working I find the app and its capabilities limited. You can adjust the temp up and down but not able to put the temp on hold, nor review and adjust the schedule.
