Purchased this in our new-to-us house. Had an ecobee in previous house. This thermostat is nicer visually, but the user interface is hugely cumbersome. Many things can’t be done without standing in front of the actual thermostat! It also seems to lose connection to the equally cumbersome app about once a week. I am about to check the warranty and ask for a new one, after not even a month.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
