Smart and easy to use but the actual T6 display is dimly lit and doesn’t brighten when using the app and the app has minimal interfacing options

Good thermostat with an easy user interface

The T6 Pro was installed by our HVAC contractor when we put in a new furnace and AC unit in late 2021. The interface is easy to understand and it takes very little time to get things sorted out and setup - with one exception, the WIFI capability. Don't waste your time on the WIFI. I spent many hours trying to get the system to connect to my home router and setup an account. After two rounds of utter frustration (spread over a couple of weeks) I finally managed to make it all work. The WIFI capability does not provide any additional features or value over standing in front of it and navigating the menu. To add insult to injury, the thermostat promptly lost the connection with the router after a couple of hours. After that I never bothered to work with it again - a waste of time.
