Poor user interface

I had this thermostat for a few years. It suddenly went off- line and I could not get it to reconnect. I gave up and just used it manually for a couple of years. Recently I wanted to get it on-line again as I was going to be away for 2 weeks. It took myself and a computer wiz 2 days working with their help desk with several escalations before we eventually got it working again. Generally found it very tedious to step through all the menus. Not user friendly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice Thermostat but failed after 1 week in New home. Furnace is 1 1/2 years old. Reprogramed on new wifi, lasted a week, then went blank. Out of warranty so bought new thermostat

this works slick and is a reliable product even if a tad expensive, i paid 230+ taxes for this device. the phone app is really handy and i like using it. i like it can be used as a night light as well. the geo fencing is also interesting and could be used as well in certain situations or all the time if you have AC, i do not have AC so i cant speak to the convenience of that but im guessing it all works slick as well
