First, let me be clear that I did not buy the thermostat. It came when I replaced the HVAC in my house. This thermostat replace one that was part of a now defunct HYDRO One programme. I am enjoying the T6 better. The interface is much cleaner and simplier to use. Overall the look of the thermostat is cleaner and easier to use and to understand. I do not use the remote function because I am rarely away from home where the remote function would be used
