This Honeywell/Resideo therrmostat was included with my new home purchase. I had an Ecobee 4 at my old house, this thermostat is inferior to that! It was "free" and it does "integrate" with my Ring home system but it does not have the features and flexibility of an EcoBee4. Interface on both the thermostat and the Resideo app is clunky and inferior to EcoBee and it has about 50% of the features that Ecobee has.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It’s a little time consuming to set up. Download Resideo App to your phone and set up from your smart phone is the easiest way to set up

Although it is promoted as being programmable, it isn’t, and the software provided doesn’t have any programmable aspects to it at all.

Too early to really say how good it works. Have only had it six weeks, but so far it is doing what it is supposed to do. Give me a full winter of use and then I can tell how good it does it's job.
