The primary benefit of a “smart” thermostat should be programmability and this thermostat cannot be programmed to change the temperature on its own except for four pre-set schedule options that you cannot change and cannot add to. Personally, the “schedule” option is useless if I can’t make my own schedule. My utility company has a window of time during which we are supposed to consciously use less energy. I thought I would be able to schedule this thermostat to allow for pre-cooling my home prior to raising the temp for that window. I was wrong.

We had this installed to replace an older one apparently damaged by a battery leak. I like the fact that this model does not have batteries and that it can be set remotely via an app or on the unit itself. So far, so good!

Quite easy to use, although I still have a hard time with the geofencing system. I like the fact that you can manage it at distance. Ie: from the office. I just wish that there would be more product that you can you with the app. I would like to get light interrupter that would be nice !
