It took us over a year to get the Wifi program to work, which is why you think we just now bought it. We only got connected when we hire a WiFi technician. Yes, I called the help center and yes we had the right Wifi channel/source. I was never so frustrated. You would get through the whole setup and it would say connected and then it would just go back to the start page and you were not connected. I am not impressed to say the least. We will now see if it will really to change the temperature settings long distance with winter coming on. One other thing, there is no simple one-button switch for Vacation mode on the Thermostat itself. That would have been very helpful. My non-smart thermostats all have a vacation mode button.
I did not personally purchase this thermostat it came in the house that I bought which was a new build. I have never owned a home with air conditioning believe it or not so I am still learning how to use this I wish the instructions were clearer
