Overall I like the thermostat and the options it has. I do get a temperature error a lot because it uses the online temp. The Resideo app is lacking a little bit the usual data is not real time it takes several days to update

This requires phone to setup "smart" features and not all phones work. I spent 3+ hours trying to set it up with current phone and after reading a recomendation to try different phone it took a few minutes using my 4yo spare phone. The app is constantly asking me to setup the thermstats again every time I want to change anything. It's usually quicker to walk to the thermostat and change it. At least it works well as a dumb theromstat. Connecting things to the internet and controlling them from an app or browswer shouldn't be this difficult. If it wasn't already installed in my home I would have returned it.

Easy installation with written instructions and video's. Operation is simple and remote Wifi access with app is definitely a plus. The only issue I have with the thermostat is is it's loss of communication between with Wi-Fi /app.
I attempted to resolve this issue by separating the 2.4 and 5 Ghz with specific passwords and changing the channel. The thermostat is located less than 10 feet line of site from the modem with a signal range of -43 to -47 dBm with 18m.

Great unit, it does alot and does it very well. butcan we have more control over what info is displayed on the partial and full lock screens?? id like them mode button to be available on the partial lock screen along with current temperature, target temperature and the plus and minus signs for temperature adjustments AND NOTHING ELSE on the T6 screen when in partial lock mode....

I was a little intimidated at first but I love this thing. It was super simple to do the app and connect it all. I do get some hiccups with the geolocation but I am out in the country so that makes sense. I usually just turn my phone wifi off and then on again - this solves the issue. Love knowing what the temp is when I am away and having the ability to control it.
