Limited documentation comes with the unit. Documentation shows an Auto mode that doesn't appear on the device. Mobile app is not very well thought out. needs a couple more generations of app.
Not impressed with the thermostat. Couldn't program it to the app. Honeywell had to do it. Can't figure out how to program. The customers service is excellent.
This thermostat works well once it has been linked to a smart phone. For Android users this is a very involved and difficult task and often results in partial installations before restarting. Second, this device does not include a memo reminder feature for filter replacement: a major shortcoming. And third, the screen is much smaller than that of some other non-Wifi Honeywell digital thermostats, making it more difficult to read the small typeface status readouts.
I have roughly 3 to 4 years experience with the T6. I had 5 units installed in the Church I was pastor. And when they proved simple to install and use; as well as very efficient and effective, I installed another in the parsonage, and then one in our retirement home.
I am considering further products for my shop building. Great product, wonderful customer support and tech support helped me with installation!
Thermostat works great, but it was very difficult to get it connected to my home network WiFi. Seemed to be much more difficult than it should have been
