A thermostat at best. It does just what a thermostat needs to with wifi. Does not have control settings that an operator can change outside of temp and schedule. Can not change the swing temp from the default 1degree to help control the system short cycling at certain temps. My old analog thermostat did this better. Replaced thermostat.

It’s great to have your thermostat on your phone.
But, there is no reason for the app to demand your location if you don’t intend to use the geofencing feature. It would be nice to be able to set a default device, so you wouldn’t have to open the app and then select your thermostat every time.

these have a very difficult and complicated process to connect to wifi. it took several long, failed attempts to get ours finally connected. then they became disconnected a few days later and I had to re-boot our router and physically remove the thermostats from the wall and re-attach them to get them to re-connect. this is far to complicated and unreliable for a consumer product.
