The schedule functionality is nice, but it defeats the purpose when you have to manally change the mode for it to work. The previous thermostat we had you could program the temp you wanted and the thermostat would heat or cool to maintain that temp. For this one, if you schedule it to be 20deg. until 9pm then want it to become 19 deg, it won't do anything unless you manually switch to cool mode, so you might as well just not use the scheudle and manually change the temp and mode at the same time.
We have 2 of these -- upstairs and down. One works fine, one does not: Glitchy and difficult to set up with WiFi..It walks you through it just fine, indicates "success", and next day isn't working. The problem is not my wifi; I have a other smart devices on Apple Ihome that work just fine. And screen defaults to "register online to see outside temperature". However the registration process does not distinguish what particular thermostat it is (serial number or other ID). Seems that the registration process is merely a way to capture your email address.
Better than typical thermostats but it has real trouble working with HomeKit, esp. if your wifi shares same SSID and password between both 2.4 and 5Ghz networks.
