The Wi-Fi thermostat is great. I use it for my short term rental. I like the fact that I can adjust the thermostat when I don’t have a guest staying there.

My house needed both central air units replaced. The tech put it T1 Pro thermostats. I ordered these two T6s because we don't live there yet. Setting up was ALMOST a breeze. Both versions use the same wall mount, so it was plug and play. The wifi setup was more of a challenge. I have a mesh wifi with both 2.4 and 5 being broadcast. The 5 MUST BE TURNED OFF. I also had to do the "pro install" to get the unit to talk to the wifi the first time. After that, it was a no-brainer.

Difficult integration with hassio/google/etc. Integrated with ring was good but limiting functionality. Limited 4 changes per day scheduling.
