Functional and Thought Out, But Needs Enhancing

The T6 Pro does the job, and it does it rather well. There are enough adjustments to properly handle a two stage heat pump with electric heat pack as backup heat. The ability to adjust latching and frequency of staging is good. I find a few things missing that would be really useful. First would be to change the simple status indicator for heating or cooling, to show heating stage 1, or stage 2, or heating with backup heat. Perhaps show it as Heat1, Heat2, Heat2+. And the same for cooling. It is not so convenient to go through the equipment status to see what is happening. The other thing that would be useful is to track the time the various stages have been running.

I originally had a Sensi thermostat and really liked the power consumption which is broken down by usage type and duration. This thermostat doesn’t have any reporting options.

Very impressed! This thing works great! The schedule was very easy to setup, but it’s also simple to change it if desired. The geofencing seems like a great feature, but we haven’t tried it yet. We had it professionally installed, but it seemed simple enough that I could have done it! You won’t be disappointed with this.
