Have had this new wireless thermostat for a couple weeks now and love it! Good features. Appreciate the ability to set heat/cool schedule, to lock screen (if needed), and to control temp from the app on my phone.

The unit works well. It's a little tricky to set up with the Wifi and app, but once you have it set up, you can control it from anywhere with the app. It is relatively inexpensive depending on where you buy it and if you can install it yourself you'll save around the purchase price from not paying someone to install it. A heating/AC service company will mark it up $40-$50 and charge you to install it. If you have only four wires going to your thermostat, you'll need to install an adapter unit on the furnace to make it work. If you have more wires available then you can make it work without the adapter.

T6 is NOT compatible with 5.0 Ghz WIFI freq. NW's

Unfortunately, this series of thermostat, once activated on our dual frequency WIFI (2.4 /5.0 ), took down our network and forced our equipment to cycle on and off and repeat. We trouble shot the nw and verified that these thermostats are not compatible with our 5.0 Ghz side of the nw.
We worked with their technical department and they could not resolve the issue.
We had to change manufacturers and the replacement works flawlessly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
