When lost power it was days before wifi access was available. BOUGHT THE DEVICE so we could monitor our second home. NOT GOOD THAT HAVE TO GO TO THERE TO GET THERMOSTAT BACK ONLINE AFTER POWER OUTAGE.......
Didn't think a smart thermostat would change much, but I admit I've fallen in love with the ease of use, especially when I grab my smartphone to adjust the temperature- I'm loving my "new toy". If I'm having a bad day w/arthritis that's ok, if I'm backing out of the driveway and forgot to adjust the thermostat while we're running errands, that's ok too. I'm spoiled, and loving it!!
Great features. I have Heat pumps and it gets the most out of the modern HVAC with all of its capabilities. Requires a pro to set up correctly. I run from my phone but literally do nothing.
Very nice love it wish i had this years ago. A must have!

Took long to set up but finally worked

Got a smart phone, had to a google account, then had to get a Honeywell product account, then a Honeywell home account, lost the App a few times because of flipping back and forth, tried to register online but couldn't and finally it registered itself. Works good now. Just be prepared to spend a lot of time setting up.
