Only issues I’ve had so far was it kept disconnecting from the Wifi at one point the app I was having issues but once I deleted the app we download the app then reinstalled the thermostat on the app I haven’t had any issues since then it’s a good thermostat just wish that you can use a smart device like Alex to control it besides just Siri on a I phone I would recommend it to a friend it was pretty straightforward to set up and connect
Very fast to sense temperature change...very accurate as well. Easy install. Nice face plate to hide older thermostat holes and paint. The smart phone app install could have been easier and had to do it several times to make it work on my I phone. Sometimes the app will not load right away..,,when you want to change temperature . Has a rather long delay sometimes.
This thermostat was installed by the company that installed my new furnace. At the time of professional installation, the thermostat would not connect to my wifi network. After hours on the phone, it finally did connect, but then would not register. The support tech had me create a fake security camera on my network so that he could then see the network, and manually force the thermostat to register. At that point, it was working as advertised. However, the provided app would not retain my user id and password and when I entered it each time, it would refuse the password and force me to create a new password. I simply used the same password each time. I spoke to another tech who told me that they were aware of the issue. The final solution was to remove the thermostat and re-install my previous one. This was not the solution that I wanted, but the vendor/installer would do nothing and Honeywell, while trying, was not able to find a solution.
