It’s good and you can monitor your thermostat from app download to your smartphone. I do recommend T6 Pro Smart Thermostat.

Purchased home with two T6 thermostats. Once former owner released them as both were already registered in Honeywell systems... Setup went smoothly. Very simple interface to setup schedules, options and WIFI. This applies to the thermostat and phone control app. Honeywell is the way to go for reliability.

Upgraded from a VisionPro 8000 which has been in service over 15yrs as I needed something with the ability to control remotely. For the most part, all the functions of the visionpro are there as well as the installer options which are most important to me.
The setup is easy, connectivity to the app is good. Some things I would have wished are different:
-Having the ability to change the fan mode separeatly for each schedule period. For example, I like to have it on "CIRC" instead of "AUTO" while sleeping, to keep the air circulating in the summer months. This is not present on this unit which was on the VisionPro.
-Yes, you can control these devices through an app, however even in your own home, the commands go through Redideo/Honeywell servers then address your device. I'd prefer it manages all locally. If those systems are down, then you cant control them remotely sitting in your own home.
-The mode function to switch between "Cool, heat & Off". There should be a more of a delay before it kicks off the function you choose or a confirmation. Once you let go, it would easy for someone to kick off a "cool" cycle in the winter and damage the compressor.

While these thermostats are an improvement over the old ones, I’m disappointed with the difficulty in setting up two thermostats. The Honeywell application is not user-friendly and does not work well on an iPhone. Since this came with the installation of my new air conditioner, I’m stuck with them until I can buy better ones.

The reason I'm giving this thermostat 2 stars is because it's supposed to be a smart thermostat that can/should be controlled via the Honeywell app, however, the app doesn't work very well (iOS). It is constantly signing me out and giving me a message stating 'too many sign in attempts'. Hopefully Honeywell can update the app so I don't have to manually sign in so many times.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
