However for someone who is legible and prefers hard copy this would be a great item. It is somewhat heavy which points to the quality of the item (paper used etc). There are some interesting features like tear off task lists. My friend loves it and that`s what counts.

I understand some people continue to use printed journals datebooks and probably even diaries under your beds. The information is definitely more secure than that of the electronic type and this `Old School Journal` has plenty of different allotted spots for all that information and more.

Enough space to put everything on the page but not too big to carry around2) The thoughtful placing of pickets and straps. There are spots for a pen and business cards and loose papers and even a sturdy non-bulky strap that flips to hold it closed.3) Some basic note-taking tips at the front to make your notes more helpful. 4) Lined pages that are the right spacing and color to help with note-taking but not impede if you want to go outside the lines. 5) pages for sketching and tear-outs for daily to-do lists.6) a dedicated place for a date at the top of each page. What could be better:1) Needs more daily to-do tear-outs. There is only one tear-out every 6 or so pages. Would prefer to see it every other page or every 3 pages. I can see myself using them all up much more quickly than I would take notes to get to the same point in the journal. 2) same with sketch pages. Would like to see a few more of those because they can just double as a note-taking page if you don`t want to sketch. ___Overall: good notebook/journal. Better than most available out there and their nice features made me want to see more of those features.

The pages are lined and have some blank pages where I can sketch funny stick-man pictures. I plan to use this book to track my daughter`s funny tales. The book has inside folder to hold pictures and has ability to place dates and reminders. It has a durable cover so I won`t have to worry about `baby` ripping the cover off as she did with soft-cover children books. If I do it right I can build a nice collection of `baby` tales where I can read them back to her when she`s older.
