Bring back Dial Gold without aloe!
on June 16, 2025

You added aloe to a product that didn't need it. Dial Gold has been the gold standard at my house because of skin sensivities. The aloe feels like residue on my skin. Now I can't even find the original. Please bring it back.

I usually buy your hand soap. However, lately the pump to dispense it does not work right. I can't get it to dispense at all. Now I'm ready to switch to Softsoap brand. It's comparable in price for the 7.5 oz product. I'll be buying the other product from now on. Not gonna fool with Dial anymore. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.

The original was perfect, now they added in Aloe making it unusable

Unfortunately, they added in Aloe (even to the so called low allergy version!) which makes the product unusable to anyone with that allergy.

We appreciate your support of our Dial product and regret to know that you can't use the product with aloe. Upon checking, we indeed added aloe to this product since washing hands tends to dry out the skin. This makes cleaning hands hydrating as well. Rest assured that your feedback will be forwarded to the appropriate teams. In the meantime, you may try our available non-antibacterial Dial liquid hand soaps without aloe. Thank you and have a great day!

New Formula is awful.

For decades this was the only soap I used. I cannot handle the awful new scent (that now lingers) and the new formula is irritating. You ruined your reliable product. It smells and acts cheaply, now. So disappointed. I would rather pay a little more for the old quality. This reformulation destroyed a classic.

You've made my life more difficult

The new formulation for Dial Gold is unusable, with its perfumey smell that lingers on my hands and the residue it leaves on my skin -- it doesn't rinse off cleanly as it did before the formula change. I was a faithful customer for decades, but no more. Now I have to find a replacement liquid hand soap, a difficult task since I'm allergic to most chemicals and scents, including those derived from plants.

SLS is not the enemy!

I wish everyone would stop jumping on the SLS hate train. It’s perfectly safe when you formulate it with other gentler surfactants. I will not use Dial anymore: it’s slimy, doesn’t lather well, doesn’t rinse off well, makes my skin itch. And what’s with the horrific, nauseating new fragrance. Nope. You’ve ruined a great product.
