Why did you change the formula. Dial Gold was the only soap I use that doesn’t make my hands or body itch. Have been using it as a body wash too for 14 years. Always left my skin clean and moisturized. Now my hands itch and I don’t dare use it to shower with. Bring back the old formula.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have always used dial gold to heal my tattoos and piercings, no additives, and pure soap for cleaning and healing. Imagine my surprise when I go to pick some up for my latest piercing and they all have aloe. I can't heal a piercing with something I'm allergic to....
The new formulation for Dial Gold is unusable, with its perfumey smell that lingers on my hands and the residue it leaves on my skin -- it doesn't rinse off cleanly as it did before the formula change. I was a faithful customer for decades, but no more. Now I have to find a replacement liquid hand soap, a difficult task since I'm allergic to most chemicals and scents, including those derived from plants.
I am sick of companies doing formula changes for no reason!

I went to the store to buy the only hand soap that doesn’t irritate my skin. I didn’t even realize the formula had changed until a few days when I noticed my painful and itchy eczema on my hands had been coming back. Change the formula back to the original! This is ridiculous. The product was perfect before and NO ONE likes the formula change. So many people with sensitive skin relied on this soap and it is unusable now.
I wish everyone would stop jumping on the SLS hate train. It’s perfectly safe when you formulate it with other gentler surfactants. I will not use Dial anymore: it’s slimy, doesn’t lather well, doesn’t rinse off well, makes my skin itch. And what’s with the horrific, nauseating new fragrance. Nope. You’ve ruined a great product.
Dial Gold soap was always a staple in our family due to sensitive skin. It was the one soap that I knew would cause me or my daughter to break out. During Covid we had to hunt to find soap and now with the change of formula we no longer can use it. It makes our hands and skin feel slimy and ended send my daughter to the doctors.
For decades this was the only soap I used. I cannot handle the awful new scent (that now lingers) and the new formula is irritating. You ruined your reliable product. It smells and acts cheaply, now. So disappointed. I would rather pay a little more for the old quality. This reformulation destroyed a classic.
