No longer a Bounty loyalist.

I'll just start buying the store brands which are much cheaper, and NOW so much better quality than Bounty. I don't know what happened. I just opened the pack I bought of Bounty yesterday. It is awful, thin, cheaply made. I feel tricked and like I've been suckered. I paid more for Bounty quality, as I did many times before, but received a product which is inferior to what I could have purchased for so much less. This is unacceptable. We all expect better, and more from Bounty. Change your name.

Complete ripoff not worth the premium price you pay anymore!

I have had it with these big companies thinking they can keep ripping us off! Stop cheapening the premium products we pay too much for already! Lost another customer I will be switching brands!

Quality Change

I have been using Bounty for decades. We had Bounty in my house growing up too. It was the best on the market for absorbency, softness and holding together when wet. Sometime after Covid, there was a quality change. The towels are thinner, feel cheap and scratchy and tear in half when you try to rip them on the perforated line. If I didn’t know better I’d think I was using a generic grocery store brand. I didn’t accidentally buy the Essentials line either. Very disappointed in Bounty. I understand wanting to keep the product affordable during an inflationary economy, but don’t sacrifice quality. I’d rather pay a little more for the same good quality. After all these years of being a loyal Bounty customer, I’m now on the hunt for a new paper towel brand.

Quality decline

I have used Bounty paper towels exclusively for 15 years because they were always the softest and most absorbent. The new package we purchased is rough, doesn't tear cleanly, has a different texture, and is half as absorbent. Unfortunately I will be switching to another brand until Bounty is back to what it used to be. Very disappointed.

just not the same :(

my family has used bounty ever since I can remember... my mom always bought and since I have always as well. its been the best and would never buy anything else... until now unfortunately. everything has changed about it. quality isn't even half to what it used to be... rough and scratchy, feels cheap. AND the size is smaller!! I just so happen to have an old sheet and the new ones are at least an inch smaller in size. its not like the price has gone down in any of these changes so to me- just not worth it. such a bummer.

Change in Quality.

I have been a loyal Bounty customer for decades. Unfortunately, that may change. There is a new type of Bounty in town with a larger weave. It feels rough, compared to the older Bounty sheets. I hope this changes, or I will have to change brands. :-(

Trap & Lock is Bait & Switch

I have used only Bounty paper towels for about 15 years. The *new* trap & lock technology is terrible. This is not a defect, this was done on purpose to cut costs and make a bigger profit. The towels feel less absorbent and are a tad thinner. When I wet the paper towel it shrinks down into a tissue-like texture and barely picks up a spill. I hope the company listens to its customers. Bring back the trusted, quicker, picker upper!

Bounty paper towels changed - So will I after 25 years

There are two name brand products I always had to have. Bounty Paper Towels and Northern Toilet Paper. Two months ago, I bought an eight pack of Bounty paper towels as I typically do, and have been doing so for my kitchen for over 25 years. The new Bounty paper towels are thin, cheap, horrible quality, and indistinguishable from previous Bounty paper towel products. Store brand paper towels are now better than the new Bounty paper towels. I'm not talking about the new Essentials brand of Bounty paper towels. I am talking about the standard Bounty paper towels I had been using for 25 years.
Bounty paper towels lost a long-time customer. I will not spend the kind of money they charge for a now horrible product.
After 25 years of only buying Bounty paper towels, I will be switching to Brawny as long as I can find their product. Now, the difference between Bounty and Brawny is like night and day.
