Awful / Bounty Changed

You keep saying you last changed your formula/technology in Feb 2021 but we don't believe you. Didn't start encountering these newer, less absorbent, inferior paper towels until literally a few weeks ago. Go back to the old formula or you'll have lost another 20+ year customer for good

So much better before the change!

I loved the thickness and absorbancy of bounty paper towels before they changed the product! Now it is a half-rate, ultra thin, barely two ply knockoff of it's predecessor. Finding a suitable replacement brand ASAP.

Oct 2022 product is different, worse

I have used Bounty since I was a kid, I'm in my 50s. They JUST changed them. Paper is thin, cheaper, more like generic. I see the answers from Bounty to others with concerns like mine. Something is definitely up and the corporation thought we wouldn't notice. If they are not changed back I'm going to another brand. No point in paying extra if the quality is gone.

Never buying Bounty again

I was a Bounty LIFER! I had super strong brand loyalty, I only bought Bounty paper towels and hated every other brand. But you changed the formula and lost me for life. All brand loyalty is out the door. I won’t be buying Bounty ever again.
This is your New Coke. You messed up bad.
I guess it’s time to try those bougie, mail-order bamboo ones!

Has anyone else noticed the original Bounty paper towels have totally changed? I have used them for decades and the most recent case we've purchased is a completely different paper towel... and we hate it. What's up with that? :(

I’ve been using Bounty paper towel exclusively for several years. Whatever changes have been made recently have lessened the quality significantly. Bring back the old Bounty PLEASE.

Significant decrease in quality

What a disappointment I had when opening a new package of paper towels this week.
I immediately noticed the texture change & that they are thinner. After a few uses I also see the overall quality has changed. Get them wet and right away you experience the towel coming apart in layers.
I'm sorry that I have a big package of these crummy towels now. I guess they'll become garage towels.
Decades of consistently using a product and now I'm forced to look for an alternative. I changed to Bounty 20+ years ago for the strength, thickness & durability. Now I'll leave Bounty due to its weakness, being thin & having no durability.

Why the change in texture?

I have used Bounty my entire life due to it being a high quality product. What happened suddenly? The last two packs I have purchased have been a disappointment. The towels are so rough and poor quality. It’s worse than any generic brand. Why did you change the texture. I am forced to buy a different brand now.
