Sad that the Forever Roll is going away…

Not up to par

Have been using the Bounty Select-A-Size for years and have preferred Bounty over store brands because of the superior absorbency. However, I recently purchased a large package of Bounty Advanced, Select-A-Size, Longer Sheets. It was higher in price, not as thick, not absorbent, and no better than store brands. Very disappointed in quality.

Bounty paper towels have changed

The towels I have bought in the last few months are not near as easy to use as before. I feel something has changed for the worse. They wont tear straight down if you want a quarter of a sheet anymore. They won't tear all the way across at the perferation unless you use both hands and go slow. Also I've had a couple rolls that the 2 ply wasn't together. I am a huge paper towel user and am not happy!

We're sorry to hear the last few packages you've received haven't been up to either of our standards, Beverly. We have many quality checks in place to make sure every product reaches you in perfect condition. Our sheets are designed to be torn at the perforation line, but we'll certainly share the change in what you've experienced in tearing sheets in half as well. In 2023, we upgraded our paper towels to improve their absorbency and clothlike look & texture to enable messes to be picked up more quickly & completely. We'd really like to roll into this further. Larger Size Half Sheet - NOT a Bargain

The wider size half sheet was a ridiculous idea! You already had a half- sheet. All your new decision allowed you to do is put less sheets on the roll and charge more. You are an American company, so please consider the hard-working Americans who spend their money to buy your product. Every single time I go to the store, I have to spend time looking at how many sheets are on the rolls and then calculate which package of paper towels I can afford to buy. Bonny has been a longtime staple in my pantry, but you sure frustrate me when I’m shopping.

In the meantime, we made a modification resulting in a slight decrease in the number of sheets on each roll and reducing the width of some rolls to make them standard for all our roll sizes. It's a tough decision any time we make a change that may impact our consumers, but we are constantly looking at our products and cost of materials needed to make them so we can keep providing you the product you love at a great value. Our Charmin is 2X more absorbent than the leading bargain brand, so you can use less. In fact, our entire family of products is designed to be a great long-lasting choice, so you enjoy more 'gos' per roll and change the roll even less often!

Quality and Prints

I echo what everyone seems to be saying the quality has changed. You may have made changes for absorbency and other features, but you missed the mark if you've adversely impacted other things which are important to customers. Please take it back to the drawing board and address the texture and quality while retaining or improving the absorbency.
Also, during the pandemic, the prints disappeared. I get it. Prints are back, but they are lame. There used to be much nicer prints, including seasonal designs, flowers, etc. The prints were a happy bonus when I had to clean up a mess. The prints now are disappointing.

Useless. No better than generic brand paper towels, in my opinion. I guess you feel you're too big to fail. Tell that to Maytag etc.

Bad new Size for Select a Size rolls

I bought the new select-a-size Bounty paper towel rolls. The larger size of each piece is terrible. It is too big. I liked having a smaller paper towel to clean up, or dry spills, or dry my hands. I will now start to look for a better brand paper towel. I hope Bounty will consider going back to the smaller size paper towel like before.

Strongest Paper towel
