If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it…

Whatever you guys did to change a classic, please change it back. We have been loyal Bounty users for decades. The new towels more resemble a pack of bargain basement towels than they do the classic Bounty “quicker picker upper”. Question: Why spend a premium price for an inferior product? Answer: unless things get changed back, I won’t be.

Bounty quality is difference

Bought new bundle of Bounty paper towels recently. "Something" has changed and now Bounty is not a premium product. After years of purchasing, these "new" sheets of paper towels are thinner and not as effective in absorbing liquids. And each sheet is not nearly as durable -- this is the biggest negative. Shortly after use with just water, the sheet of towel tears and falls apart. In the past this never happened - I could even wash a couple towels in the washing machine (by accident!) and the towel came out of the pocket it was in. BUT it was still intact! So disappointing to find this paper towel is now less sturdy and robust.

Select-a-size

I've used only Bounty paper towels for decades and specifically the select-a-size for as long as they've made the product. I opened a new roll today to discover the product has changed and the size has changed which I do not like. It used to fold nicely into a square. No more. Please return to the product that had so many loyal buyers. For now, I'll look for a new product.

Unfortunately these don’t tear properlyvon the perforation. You get a raggedy edge or a tiny portion of one strip. Won’t be buying them any longer-,I’m sure we can find a towel that will tear properly

Deceiving

I can’t fine any information on this site about the number of sheets per roll not the length of the rolls - triple, double, family, regular. When the packaging says 12 regular = 30 family rolls… what is that equalivalent in double rolls?? Clearly Bounty is trying to deceive and take advantage of their customers ignorance. Very disappointing with their business ethics!!!

We assure you, we're never trying to take advantage of you, as your happiness is our goal. Triple Select-a-Size rolls runs from 6.45" to 6.9" by 5.9", and usually have around 147 segments per roll. Double Select-a-Size rolls are 5.8" by 5.9", and hold 98 pieces. Family Quick Size rolls are 6.2" by 5.7", and hold 143 sheets. Smell like wet old paper

I'm surprised so few people have not pointed out how nasty these paper towels smell when wet. They smell like old wet books. They never used to do this. Whatever change you made in your process has lost you a brand-loyal customer.
Can't even dry a counter or fry hands with these anymore without them smelling like wet paper.
Forget using them to wrap up a frozen burrito when microwaved, unless you want your burrito to taste like a wet book.

While I can’t say for certain what happened, paper products are porous. If stored at any point near something that is highly perfumed or has another strong odor, it’s possible the Bounty product may have picked up some of the scent.

New towels are horrible

I have used Bounty paper towels since I started buying groceries in 1999, but no more. The new quality is terrible and I can’t believe they thought people wouldn’t notice. Goodbye Bounty, Hello Viva.

Th ey have removed the actual number of sheets

They have removed the actual number of sheets from the package so that you can't really compare brands anymore. Since this is a deceptive practice I will quit buying bounty forevermore!

The number of sheets in a roll of Bounty depends on the size and the version you are purchasing, and all sheet counts and square footage are clearly displayed on the front of each Bounty package.
