DOES NOT TEAR PROPERLY

I usually buy Bounty although it costs more than the store-brand select-a-size towels because it easily tears completely without waste,
HOWEVER,
my recent purchase of "Bounty 12=20 75% more Select-a-Size" had waste at the beginnings of the rolls
(edge of start stuck hard to 2-3 sheets below it)
and trying to tear each sheet completely and uniformly was impossible.

It provides ragged torn pieces of toweling.
I will purchase the store-brand in the future which tears better and has almost the same absorbency, but costs significantly less.
I won't waste my money on Bounty.

So disappointed in Bounty product, I use paper towels for everything and when i wash my hands and dry them with a clean paper towel Bounty leaves a gross film on my hands.

Bounty was the best on the market, now it is poor

Bounty was the best available, now it is just ordinary. They have reduced the quantity in the rolls without changing the name of the size and now they have reduced the perforations so that hey will not tear off the roll in any fashion that works.

Been buying select a size for a long time. Just bought package of Super Roll with fruit print to use; worst paper towels I've ever used. Try to tear off one, you get 1 1/2 or 3/4 of one or two. They're flimsier, won't tear right won't tear at the perforated line. Worse than the cheapest towel I've ever mistakenly bought. Hope you can fix the problem.

Quality has gone downhill

I have always used Bounty Select A Size, but my last purchase of 12 Huge Rolls=30 Regular Rolls was very disappointing. The perforations don't work. The size of the tube on one of the rolls was at least an inch shorter than the others. The two ply sheets come apart. I see others complaining about this also, so I hope you go back to the original product. In the meantime, I am stuck with the equivalent of 30 rolls of a poor quality product.

Seems like I'm not the only one having issues with Bounty paper towels. I have bought Select-A-Size since they were brought out and regular Bounty before that. I have noticed for quite some time now that the paper towels are much thinner, not like a "towel" as their advertisement boasts, and the perforations are HORRIBLE! IF I can even get them to tear, they tear off jagged so you seldom get a whole piece regardless of what size you want. I know companies want to save money but there ARE other paper towels out there that feel much better and can at least tear off a roll properly! Sad to say that it looks like it's time for me to look for a new brand of paper towels.. :-(

Current quality control problems.

I have used this product numerous times in the past and thought it to be excellent. However the last 2 packages of 8 rolls I purchased were far inferior to my past experience. It appears to be a quality control issue in that the ply's seem to separate and the towels will not tear on the perforations. I hope this can be corrected as I like the "select-a-size" concept.

I cut a roll of towels in half with a very sharp knife and make two rolls about 6" X 6". This is great for a runny nose and a lot better and stronger the any facial tissue
