Superb Product Now Subpar

It appears that recently the Bounty Select a Sheet product has changed. I was a loyal user of Bounty for over 8 years, but now I will be finding a new paper towel brand. Recently we purchased two eight pack roll bundles and when opening them I immediately noticed the paper towels had changed. They now have "Bounty" written all over them and the product is less absorbent, does not tear from the roll well, and the layers separate when cleaning up a mess. This Bounty lover will be searching for a new product to give my loyalty too.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

With Bounty Select I get value and performance

Bounty Select a Size is not only durable but it saves me money with it's option to select how much you need. It is absorbent, strong and long lasting because in my household if it is not doing a tough job where it just doesn't get worn down to nothing it is rinsed and reused. I love it!!

I hate this size

I love regular Bounty and have been using it for decades. But the Select a Size is awful. They're not quite big enough but using 2 sheets is too large. You can't use them in the microwave cause they split at the seam. I try to avoid them at all cost, but last week I accidently bought a huge package of them. I can hear my husband cursing in the kitchen cause they just dumped out all his little smokies on the floor when they split at the seam.
And as far as being 'green' and using less paper, I actually end up using more. Better for Bounty, but not for our household. If it ain't broke-don't fix it!

i hate selectasize

if I want a small wipe, a can grab a napkin. if I need to dry my hands I need a regular size. folding the selectasize to wet and wipe something, they just fall apart at the seem. they never rip where you want them to. its a real effort just to grab the amount you need. regular size is nice and mindless. some like select a size but make small rolls for them. when your going through paper towels regularly then people need huge rolls with normal sheets. selectasize is nothing but a glorified tissue. selectasize is a big hassle. ive bought them by mistake a couple times and couldn't wait until the roll was out. it makes life horrible when your ocd like me.

BOUNTY HAS COMPLETELY LOST ITS QUALITY STANDARD

I've been buying Bounty towels for years. They were always so much better (thicker, softer, more absorbent) than all the other brands. But this batch I bought the other day are just as hard and thin as the cheapest off-brand. I will no longer be paying through the nose for a product whose quality has been so drastically reduced. Hopefully another company will step up soon to provide shoppers with a better choice.

THE LAST COUPLE OF TIMES I PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT , INSTEAD OF 2 PLY SHEETS THEY HAVE BEEN PAPER THIN SHEETS , NOT GOOD FOR ANYTHING. I HAVE BEEN USING BOUNTY FOR OVER TEN YEARS, BUT IF THE QUALITY DOES NOT IMPROVE , I WILL BE SWITCHING TO VIVA OR BRAWNY..

Excellent until this last role

I have used the "select a size" for the convenience and savings because I could select the amount of paper I needed. That is, until this last roll from a bundle that looked as if it were the 'ends' (last 3 sheets) from all the other rolls put on one roll. The sheets looked as if someone created the roll by adding one after the other of the left overs from other runs. It was extremely wasteful and even infuriating when you try and take it off the roll and you would have to unwind the roll to get to the beginning of the 3 sheet roll. I was disappointed when I saw this.
I would recommend this to a friend!
