What happened?!?!!!

The new paper towels horrible! Really wish I hadn’t just bought a large package. I’ve been a loyal customer 20+ years but I’ll be searching for a new brand based on this experience.

Ouch!

Bounty paper towels were always my go-to. Then COVID happened and it seemed that the paper towels began to get thinner and more rough. I was willing to allow Bounty a temporary hall pass because of the pandemic, supply chain issues, etc. Now that we’re past that, these paper towels seem to only be getting WORSE. How is that even possible? Don’t even dare to think about drying your hands or face with these. In fact, do everything you can to avoid having these paper towels touch your skin at all because it’s like sandpaper! These paper towels have gotten beyond rough. They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Time for me to stop being insane by continuing to buy Bounty when the quality has declined to this. I will be on the hunt for another paper towel brand.

Quality Gone

Been purchasing Bounty for over 20 years now at premium price and sadly this latest purchase will be my last. I usually never write reviews on products, however I feel you should know as a company. The quality is completely gone and the sheets feel like the cheap generic rolls you would purchase from a discount store. At the PREMIUM PRICE PAID you expect the sheets to at least pickup a small spill, instead now I have to use double the sheets which breaks upon wetting. I have pictures of comparison from my previous purchase to this purchase and the difference is night and day. I suggest you guys at quality control/improvement get it together before other loyal customers stop purchasing. Not sure who at corporate authorized this change; it will cost the company dearly.

New design

I've recently bought Bounty paper towels as I have done for many years the new way it is being made is awful I'm not sure why or who decided to change it but it's terrible I will be changing my paper towels to something soft like Bounty use to be. Very unhappy of the new design.

Bounty paper towels have changed for the worse

I have been buying Bounty for years and just recently the past 2 6 packs I have bought are not as thick they are definitely not as absorbent as they used to be so I think I will be buying a different brand since I was paying extra for Bounty and now that they have changed to worse its not worth it to spend the extra money on them. Please change the thickness back to how they used to be! So disappointed in Bounty!

Agree with everyone else

I'll add my voice to the folks who are unhappy about the current quality of Bounty paper towels. When I first used the new package I thought I'd bought the wrong thing they were so inferior to how they used to be. I was willing to pay more for the higher quality, but this formulation is no better than store brands, so this will be my last package of Bounty, sadly, as I've been using them for decades. But it makes no sense to pay extra for the name now that the towels are store-brand quality. There is no need to tell everyone to call customer service - everyone is telling you here in these reviews that they are unhappy with the change in quality. Please let us know if you return to your former formulation and I will gladly return as a customer.

Horrible quality

What happened to the thick Bounty select a size? They are smaller and thinner than they used to be. They definitely aren’t worth the money anymore.

Went from best to worst over night.

I have always paid a premium for Bounty because they were the best most durable paper towels. I will be switching brands because not only is it cheaper, less cloth like, and has a terrible texture, but now every time I try to rip one off of the roll it tears halfway through and I have to tear another and another. Complete waste and terrible business decision to change it. Goodbye Bounty.
