Reduced quality?

I used to love these paper towels, to the point of paying more for them than other brands. My recent purchase of select-a-size towels has left me with 8 rolls of stiff, scratchy paper that will not tear along the perforations. I either get two towels, or a large corner torn off. The entire roll reminds me of the end of the roll where the glue stiffens that last paper towel. I am very disappointed in my latest purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dye from prints on paper towel stained my carpet

Our carpet is scotchguarded and all we need to wipe up messes is a damp paper towel...when doing so with one of Bounty's prints, the blue dye from the paper towel stained the tan carpet. Have tried various cleaning products but can not get the dye stain out. The original stain came out with just a damp paper towel...the paper towel stain won't come out at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The roll lasts longer and is better for the envirnonment creating less waste.

This is a great money savings product. You only need to used a half sheet for smal jobs.

Printed towels have poor color quality

Bounty printed towels are not the great quality that the solid white towels are because the color comes off when you wipe down anything that is light colored. I will never buy the printed towels again. I will stick to the white only.

I'm an acrylic and watercolor painter, so I go through a lot of paper towels. I've always bought cheap store brands, but after I found Select-a-Size towels I changed over to Bounty. I appreciate the quality of the product, but the ability to tear off a small sheet is really what sold me. It's nice to see a company market such a smart product instead of encouraging waste!

The limited edition Olympic towels bleed the blue ink onto everything, including white plastic that I cannot get it off from.
