Surprised and disappointed

I purchased several packs of this product recently and I’m shocked by the extremely poor quality. Bounty has been my preferred paper towel brand for the last 40 years for its absorbency and high quality. This latest version is comparable to the least absorbent generic brand. Not only am I totally surprised, but I’m also now disappointed that I bought in bulk.

New paper rolls with poor quality

why did they change the material? it's so bad and very poor quality. I preferred to pay a bit more for this brand but now I will save my money and buy any other cheap brand as they are equal quality.

Seeking Alternatives

I am in agreement with previous reviews regarding the change of quality of Bounty paper towels. Besides the rough surface, I get frustrated when I tear a 'select-a- size' sheet, I'm left with a little "tail" on the next available sheet on the roll where it doesn't tear off cleanly. These towels no longer have my trust for any type of cleaning job because they fall apart and leave lint everywhere! Did you think the consumer wouldn't notice? I have been a loyal customer for decades and was always willing to pay premium because they out-performed all other paper towels. I'm sad to say that I will be researching alternative products. Procter and Gamble should be ashamed to put their name on this disgraceful product.

Bad move

Clearly, inflation has something to do with this, but the paper towels are poor quality now. Why would we keep paying for this? And why not be honest with your loyal customers about why you cheaped out on us?

I've been using Bounty forever and something has gone wrong. The paper towels are so thin and non-absorbent. I thought I accidentally bought the wrong towels. The price has gone up and the quality has gone down A LOT. And, now I use more paper towels, which is why I always bought your product.

What happened?

I have used Bounty Select a Size paper towels and Regular sized Bounty Paper towels for forever... but the last 8 pack I bought is terrible! I was never afraid to use Bounty to clean my kids and grandkids face and hands to prevent spreading germs. But these last ones are so rough they chap their little faces & hands! Going to look for something else. Absorbency has gone downhill also. So sad...
