Ink bleeds

I recently bought the new summer prints paper towels. When the towel is wet, the ink transfers on to the counter top or stove. I couldn't figure out where the pink & blue was coming from as I was wiping down my stove. After awhile, I realized it was the ink from the wet paper towel. I will not buy them again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent Product -- Value Priced

I've been using Select A Size for a couple years now. I love the product. i only tgear off as many sheets as I need in "half-sheet" increments. Think about it: do you always need an entire sheet for things? NO! Often, a half sheet is more than adequate. The absorbancy and strength of the sheets are excellent as well.
By using the product correctly, fewer sheets are used; therefore the roll lasts longer and in turn saves $$$.
Give it a try, you'll be glad you did.

I have not been able to find this select-a-size product
in three different super markets in my area. I sincerely hope this is not being discontinued. For a one person household this is terrific I use it in the kitchen area and the bathroom sink area, for cleaning my dogs feet etc, windows - you name it I use this product in almost every room in my house.

Don't make mistake in discontinuing Select-A-Size

Like other reviewers, I've had trouble finding Select-A-Size Bounty at my usual grocers. If this portends a discontinuation of Select-A-Size in favor of the "One Sheet" type, I'd like to remind you of the experience of a well-known soda manufacturer several years ago who tried a "new" product that would replace its longtime stellar product. A huge loss in public respect, a rollback, and many millions of dollars lost. Don't mess with Select-A-Size. It works. People like it as it is. You could try to improve the paper quality, as some reviewers have noted. Don't fool around with your successful products too much.

They're strong and absorbent

However - the ink bleeds. I used them on a spot on the carpet and the ink bled. It won't come up - not even with the spotbot machine and I had them shampood - it's still pink/red from the paper towels!

The print stained my beige counter top.

Both prints - peas and "friends are flowers in a life's garden" left a stain on my beige counter top. The towel was used to dry wet lettuce. When I lifted the wet towel to throw away, it left the pattern from the towel onto the counter. The same pattern is on my counter! This is really a poor product. The ink should never come off onto anything. It is supposed to be used dry or wet. The ink is not correct if it stains a kitchen counter.

You can certainly use the Bounty wet. I am sorry this happened. The print is certainly removable. Use an all-purpose cleaner such as Mr. Clean.

Used Bounty for over 20 years

I have used Bounty paper towels for over 20 years. That alone should attest to the quality of the product. However, finally something slipped by quality control and I have one roll that is not completely two-ply. Wanted to let customer service and quality control know that.
