Bounty, why? UNDO the recent changes!

In our most recent deliveries of the product, we have noticed a significant difference in the product—these are not the paper towels we know and want; it is an inferior quality.
I have been a loyal Bounty customer for years, due to the superior absorption of the product and liking the simple select a size features (no prints, please!)
Cheap paper towels are in a waste of money.
Viva is too thick for most uses.
Bounty was the perfect option. Now it feels just like the other cheap, thin options.

What changed?

I’ve always loved Bounty paper towels but this last pack I got I’ve noticed that the quality has decreased dramatically- to the point where I noticed it right away. The towels are stiffer and just feel cheap. I’ll continue to use this pack and if this change ends up improving absorption or it’s cleaning effectiveness somehow then I’ll change my rating, but my first impression of this new product is not great.

Thinner and tear easily; it wasn't broke why fix it?

I recently got a new pack of Bounty paper towels. They used to hold up great while scrubbing tough sticky messes on the countertop. Now they feel cheap, like a bargain brand, and tear easily. Real disappointment from a former lifelong Bounty buyer. No longer!

Disappointed

I have been using bounty paper towels select a size for many years. They have become skimpy and hard to tear. I am looking at other brands because I don’t like them

I have never used any other paper towels besides Bounty because they were the best. Not anymore- I guess I will have to find a new brand because I hate these paper towels now. What am I going to do with all of the rolls I have??? Ugh!

No longer a quality product

I have always been willing to pay more for Bounty, but no more. The paper towels are no where near as absorbent and leave behind small flecks of paper. Very disappointing to see this change. I will be switching to another brand.

Extremely disappointed

I’ve purchased select a size bounty paper towels for years, but I’m looking for another brand to buy. Now, the bounty paper towels are so thin and smaller. What happened to that “Bounty” quality?

New changes in material and texture make this unusably bad.

We've been Bounty customers for, quite literally, decades. But their very recent changes to the texture, material, and weave of the paper towels have made these absolutely unusable. The material is nearly translucent, lacks any absorbancy at all, and is scratchy and uncomfortable. It's like trying to sop up messes with fast food napkins. Incredibly disappointed. We'll be switching to something else -- perhaps reusable towels or an entirely different brand, because this has lost us as a customer entirely.
