Flimsy construction

We had purchased and used the colored version of this envelope in the past. I decided to purchase this 10 pack of the clear variety to save a few dollars but the first two envelopes that we have used have busted. The plastic piece that holds the string back once wound for closure has popped off both times. We will not be purchasing this version again.

Use as I do paper files buy only for files that I know I will have additional items to add at a later date. This way I can have a file that I can pick up to review without opening unless want to add information.

Staples Poly Envelopes with Side Opening Letter Clear 10/Pack

I recently purchases 55 of these envelopes for a conference which I helped organize. We used the envelopes for the program and other handouts. The envelope expands so that it accommodated many items; it's clear so you can easily see what's where; and the closure insured that nothing fell out accidentally. We had the program facing the back of the envelope so that attendees could see the schedule without opening the packet and fumbling around with it. We received many compliments on how well organize the conference was and specific compliments on this item. It's terrific!
