Scent too much

I first tried these during a construction project. They were useful, but the scent is overpowering, even just opening the container releases too much. I kept the package in a large ziplock bag, sitting in the entryway or even the garage until the scent diminished. Ditto the used pad, it had to be taken out to the garage trash bin as soon as I finished using it. I do not keep them on hand and buy them very seldom. If not for the scent, and the environmental impact ( if they could be biodegradable!), they would be a cleaning asset. For dust mopping in a hurry I sometimes use an ordinary paper towel, attach to the swifter duster and throw it away knowing it will ( eventually) decompose.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works but the smell!! 😷

I wish I could give this product more stars. It’s convenient, cleans well. But the scents are all wayyyy too strong.
If you made this dry and let me soak with my own cleaner I’d buy these forever. Or make them unscented. I don’t want my house to smell clean, I want it to BE clean.

No Lid

Love the product, but bought not knowing it’s a refill. There is no lid for storage. Why cannot you state it a refill?

will be buying a different mop

the wet pads are great, except they dry out every 10 feet. if i could return it i would, so now im just gonna have to buy another mopping product. the pads come out of the container soaking wet but if you want your floors consistently clean across the surface you'll need like 10 wet pads, or you have to keep getting them wet under the faucet to the point where theres not even any soap.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Concerned about the chemicals and strong scent

Its a noticeably strong scent that causes a bit of concerns re: toxins / chemicals used. Should we be running water on our floors after using the wipes?

Changed for the worse.

I've been using these for years with no issues, now all of a sudden they leave a soapy residue on my floors. They never used to do that. They must have changed the formula. I'm going back to a regular mop and bucket. No more Swiffer for me.

If your floor is brand new, it may have a special coating to protect it during shipping, which can cause streaking. If this is the case, using the product a few more times should solve the problem. Product changed - not for the better.

The pads work well as a quick clean, always liked them. But, the formula has changed and they added a scent which is horrific. The smell stays around for days and is so strong it gives me a headache. I wish they left things alone. I will never buy it gain due to the heavy odor. Literally smells lie some nasty VOC was added (volatile organic carbon).

PLEASE FIX THE COVER

It’s fine whatever. Works fine. But what irks me more than anything is the way the box is made. The plastic cover on top NEVER fits and is always falling off. If it so much as tips over, the liquid that the cloths are in spills out. We use these as my job and it’s the MOST INFURIATING THING EVER. Please design a cover that actually fits. It’s not that hard. I’m begging you
