No need to pay more

This tape gun gets the job done! This replaces a virtually identical item purchased years ago. If you shop online a tape gun is a must for all those returns. The fancier models with cushioned grips might be worthwhile if you seal boxes all day long otherwise the cushioning is just something to break down. The only addition which is an improvement from the earlier model is the blade guard which easily flips out of the way.

I'm surprised at the review stating this product is junk. I'm back here to purchase a 2nd one for our business. The 1st one we had works pretty well for our light-use purposes shipping 1-2 boxes per day. It works better than an older one we have. The tape rolls off easily and we don't have a problem with it getting stuck or tangled like we do with our old one. However I haven't used that many different shipping tape dispensers so I wouldn't know if there was a phenomenal product out there.

I probably don't have the tape installed correctly. This is the first time I've tried to use a dispenser of this type. THERE WERE NO INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED! And no clear picture so I can't see how to thread tape on the unit. Tape is continually getting stuck on guide & overall it's very clumsy to use. It could use a good redesign.

Heavy Duty Strong Well Made Easy to use. Has a safety feature on witch I took off. Not needed.
