Hard to Get Fiber onto Glissez

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Duster needs to be sown all the way up to the top of duster. As stated below, duster came with one of the duster already threaded onto the handle (Prongs). When the duster got dirty and it was time to change the duster, I tried to change. Both dusters exposed the prongs when I slid it into the openings. Openings were only half way, when I tried to thread it further it went straight through.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The best dusting tool I have ever used

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My colleague at school where we both teach photography to teenagers introduced me to the Swiffer dusting system that he recently used in the darkroom. It is essential to rid the darkroom of dust to insure cleaniness for negative printing. Also, at the end of the year we give it a complete cleaning, the best we have ever been able to accomplish.
He discovered the Swiffer in his efforts to rid his Weehawken NJ apartment of dust after a nearby construction project with much success.
I was impressed with the results and tried it in my New Jersey home and found it to be remarkable in that I was finally able to clean the house quickly at "party level" dusting at all heights and spaces in every room.
My Husband and I own a home in the Drome in France that is primarily built of stone which creates constant dust that we have had difficulty staying on top of in the past. We rent part of it so we are cleaning constantly.
My husband and I had a contest to see what would work better, his dusting cloths or my trusty Swiffer wand and of course I won on three hundred year old surfaces in half the time.
We were doubtful that the French grocery store would carry the refills but there they were right on the shelf in the Le Cleric supermarket in Valreas.
We have a German Sheppard dog that sheds and we live in a dusty area due to traffic.
I am very thankful for your cleaning product that makes this chore fast and efficient as I'm a full time worker and like to spend my time on other activites.
Bravo to the inventor! I'm a hard sell for spending money on cleaning products but I'm hooked on this system.

Dust and Sand Everywhere

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a house on the beach in Mexico, plus 4 dogs, so that means dust and sand galore. The last time friends came down to visit they asked "what can we bring you?" Two things! Chardonnay and a Swiffer Duster! I can literally dust 2-3 times a day and before getting my Swiffer I felt like I was just moving the dust and sand around a bit. Now, it's gone, gone, gone and the house actually stays clean for a bit! With the extender I can reach the top of the ceiling fans and all of the other dust catchers in the house. If you haven't used a Swiffer Duster, you haven't really dusted!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Won't stay together

Cons: not better than a tee shirt and can of endust

Glad to hear the duster works well for you...when it stays on the handle. How frustrating! We wouldn't expect it to fall off and neither should you!
Have you already checked to make sure both prongs on the handle are inserted all the way down in the sleeves on the cloth? The Dusters have two sleeves between the fluffy layers and the cloth is held in place by the tab at the base of the handle. It's important to use Swiffer refills for your Swiffer handle. Other brands’ refill cloths may not fit the Swiffer handle properly.

The best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I could not live without my Swiffer dusters. Having the cloth alone is great, but having this duster with the handle is even easier. It definitely does like the commercial says, and picks up all dust like a magnet. It makes me actually want to clean because it's so easy.
Pros: super easy to use
Cons: disposable non-washable.

good duster but you have to work with it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this duster for getting difficult places to dust like the tops of fans and blinds. I do find that after the first couple of passes over dust you have to use your hands to separate and reflux the little dusting fingers as they will get stuck together and not get to all the little nods and crannies on items. I really like the way you can bend the wand to get about anywhere.
Pros: wand very handy
Cons: have to refluff periodically

If you notice that occasionally the fibers will not stay fluffy, it could be that the duster has reached it's dust capacity or that some of the fibers inadvertently became moist. Below are some fluff tips that may help.
To make sure you get the maximum fiber fluff, before you use the duster, fluff the fibers by holding both ends of the Duster and moving your hands up and down quickly in a "see-saw" motion. Build up speed until all the fiber fingers are fluffed. Pulling at the fibers may also help to fluff them.
The good new is that the more fluffed the fibers, the better cleaning results you'll ge! Please reach out if that continues to happen and we can put our dusting heads together to figure it out. ty!
