Basil Scent was addictive!

I've been using Mrs.Meyers Basil hand soap for about 20 days now. At 1st I thought the basil scent was too strong and I didn't think I was going to like it. But after awhile it grew on me and I enjoy smelling it while it lasts. It's great that it's a natural product and I know what I'm running onto my hands. It runs in nice and doesn't leave a greasy feeling. If anyone else in the house uses it I can immediately smell the basil. The smell isn't for everyone

The scent of the Mrs. Meyer's hand lotion in basil was actually one I enjoyed. Even though it took some getting used to the smell at first. The thing that didn't really work for me with this lotion is how it was, or rather wasn't, absorbed into my hands. I could use half of a pump of the lotion(or less) and rub my hands together but the lotion would just sit on my skin forever. Not a plus for me. Cleaning Never Smelled so Great

This week I had the pleasure of sampling Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Basil hand soap and lotion. I was impressed by the size of the bottles. In the pursuit of making life easier, not having to replace my soaps all the time is a positive. The basil scent doesn't exactly smell like an herb in my garden - or farmer's market, but nevertheless it smells cool and crisp. Besides, who'd want to smell like pesto sauce all day anyway. I thought it was a quite nice smell. Some people with sensitivity might find the scent a bit strong, but it is not a chemical scent so hopefully they will find it pleasurable. I used the both the basil soap and lotion a lot over the last week. Between cooking, cleaning, and other messy projects like potting plants, my hands got lots of washings. I felt that the soap cleaned well. I only needed one squirt to get the job done. The lotion went on easily and kept my hands from the winter dryness that I hate so much. I received these samples to try and at first, as always, I as skeptical of the scent choice but once I used it I really like how it smelled so fresh and it really did clean very well. I love all Mrs. Meyer's products, so I was extremely excited to try the basil hand lotion. The scent was very refreshing and calming. It wasn't over powering, it made my hands nice and soft without leaving a greasy or oily residue. If my hands could talk, I'm sure they would thank me!
