I use this product after I wash my hands or whenever my hands feel like they need it. I love the light scent and how soft my hands feel after I use it. I have absolutely no complaints about this product.

Interesting Scent for a Lotion

I used Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Basil Hand Lotion in my home after washing my hands. The lotion has a lemon-basil scent that rubs in clean and smooth like a souffle. My skin is sensitive to many lotions and creams, but this one is nonirritating and I could use it as often as needed to keep my hands from looking dry. Fresh basil scent

This lotion is natural and leaves your skin really soft. It has a strong smell at first but quickly goes away leaving your skin fresh and smooth.
Pros: Leaves your skin really soft, smells different
Cons: Really strong basil smell at first

I absolutely love the smell of basil fresh from the garden and this lotion does a great job giving me that scent year round! It is fresh, cool and crisp! I enjoy that is a nicely scented lotion without being overpowering for everyday use. I also really enjoy that this lotion is made with plant derived ingredients including: essential oils, Shea butter, almond oil and aloe vera for a lotion formula I can trust! It is very effective at moisturizing my dry hands and has really kept my hands soft! I like that it is a rich creamy lotion but does not feel oily or greasy on my hands. It absorbs quickly into the skin yet my hands continue to feel moisturized well after applying the lotion. I will continue to use Mrs. Meyer's lotions and can not wait to try out the full line of products offered. I plan to try all of the garden inspired scents offered! It makes my hands soft and smell nice. I wish you would make hand lotion in your Rosemary scent. I have your Basil soap and lotion in my kitchen. I have Rosemary soap in my bathroom. It smells like aromatherapy at an expensive spa.

Smells so fresh, feels so good!

My wife and I absolutely love this product. Initially, my wife was hesitant to use it because the scent was unique and reminded her a little bit of incense. After using it for a few days though, she refused to use any other soap and could tell a difference with her usually dry hands feeling much softer. For my part, I liked it because I didn't feel like it was a specifically feminine scent, like many of our soaps are. The soap smells clean and fresh and simply works! All review comments are entirely my own. I wasn't sure what to expect from a hand lotion that boasts a basil scent. I was pleasantly surprised by the clean scent that reminds me of working in the garden or kitchen rather than a sticky sweet scent of other brands. I was also impressed by the lack of oily residue or slimy feeling. It was a clean refreshing lotion and a different experience altogether.
