All review comments are entirely my own. I am not generally a hand lotion person, but I was curious to sample this product, especially with the scent basil. My only experience with basil is more in Italian food, and not as a fragrance. However, I found the scent to be pleasant and calming, much more so than I would have though. Generally I am drawn toward minty scents, but I quite enjoyed this one. As far as the lotion itself, it is fairly average. I tried it as a general body lotion and it worked fairly well, however, for me I think it would be better suited to a summer product when my skin needs much less hydration.

While I was not a big fan of the basil scent in the lotion, the lotion itself was great. My hands were soft and the lotion was not greasy. I am a fan of "clean" scents and this is one of the very best scents I have found yet. Hands are thoroughly clean with a lingering fresh scent, and that is even before using their lotion in the same scent. I am delightfully surprised. Very impressed! After pulling weeds my hands were pretty rough then after applying Mrs. Meyers basil hand lotions they were ready with a fresh start to do the rest of my chores! Very aromatherapeutic , clears your head! So when they say it's for the hardworking homekeeping they aren't joking. Made with Shea butter and almond oil it's not greasy and absorbs and lasts. Definitely a go to lotion for the hard working hands!

I feel it is pleasant enough without being overpowering. This lotion is better then any other lotion I have tried recently which are many. I have very sensitive skin and wash my hands a lot and with this lotion my hands are always hydrated and never feel dry or strange after use. I received this product from Crowdtap for my review but this is my honest opinion of the product....
