The scent is very clean and fresh. The lotion does take awhile to rub in, but does not leave the hands feeling greasy afterwards. There is a lasting softness to your hands after using the lotion. All review comments are entirely my own. I got a free full size bottle of both the soap and lotion in the Basil scent. The soap leaves your hands clean, without drying them out. The lotion makes your skin soft, without being heavy or greasy. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I like the scent. When I first smelled it in the bottle, I wasn't so sure i liked it. The smell on your hands is a little different than I'm the bottle, which is good thing. I really like the smell on my hands, its not really strong, but has a light smell that's pleasant. When I'm done with these free bottles, I'll absolutely be trying the other scents
